April 8/2017: Give it up for the Earth Movie Day

The Regina CGIT took part in Give It Up For The Earth by hosting a movie day on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Whitmore Park United Church, 336 Durham Drive, Regina.  We showed “Revolution” (PG) by Rob Stewart and we invited the community to come watch with us! Following the movie there was a chance for some discussion and to sign postcards asking the Federal government to protect the environment.

Doors opened at 1:30 with the movie starting at 2:00.  Popcorn was available, but we asked people to please bring their own bowl to put it in.

With incredible cinematography and an enticing storyline, this film focuses on the amazing, youth led revolution happening around the globe.  The message of the film is that no matter how young you are, what social standing you have, or where you live, you can make a difference.

We loved seeing you there!!
